**Job Highlights**
- AIR6500 is the RAAF's $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked 'system of systems' that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.

The primary responsibility of the Subcontract Program Manager is to provide effective leadership and management of subcontractor capability for the AIR6500 program from inception through to completion for allocated subcontracts of low-medium risk and complexity.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Subcontract Management Team Leader for allocated AIR6500 subcontracts and procurement
- Development of Supplier relationships in support of current and future AIR6500 supply chain requirements in line with the relevant phases of the program
- Integrate the AIR6500 Australian Industry Capability strategy through subcontract definitisation and execution post award

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience working in a commercial or contract management environment, including ability to understand and interpret contracts and subcontracts
- Professional experience working within a Defence, IT or project environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes and build strong stakeholder relationships
