As we expanded from labour hire to permanent recruitment and connecting skilled workers across borders, our mission has remained: to provide solutions that save Australia's food and agriculture industries time and resources.About the roleThe Senior Safety Advisor is responsible for fostering a collaborative safety culture that aligns with all aspects of the RWM Group.
This includes ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and continuously reviewing and improving safety management systems, processes, and training programs.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme Approved Employer DEED requirements.Implement and support the National Health and Safety Strategy.Assist in health and safety responses for tender preparations.Provide advice and guidance during investigations into safety incidents, including workplace injuries, and report findings to relevant supervisors and managers.Manage safety performance data analysis and reporting for the region, presenting findings to senior management.Audit, monitor, and review the implementation of safety systems, including the management of Host Employer safety.Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to improve site safety and meet RWM Group standards.Maintain visibility at host client sites through audits and promoting a risk reduction culture.Handle accidents or incidents and delegate follow-up actions as needed.About youSuccessful candidates will be strong communicators capable of building relationships across all levels of the business.
You should be career-oriented, eager to take on new challenges and opportunities.Requirements include:Ability to travel regularly and interstate as needed.Undertake Q Fever testing and vaccination.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Formal qualifications in Health and Safety.Extensive experience in health and safety activities, including workplace audits and corrective actions.Knowledge of health & safety legislation and regulations.Ability to foster a positive safety culture by engaging managers, supervisors, and staff.Strong interpretation skills of government policies and regulations.Experience managing stakeholder relationships, including with government bodies.Experience with ISO Quality and Occupational Health and Safety Management systems.J-18808-Ljbffr
