**Are you a Senior Data Engineer with a passion for data-driven and migration projects that enable organisations to make informed, strategic decisions?**

This opportunity will see you work with an enterprise customer, to provide key support for a migration program. NOVON supports and provides opportunities to upskill/finesse your consulting skills, liaise directly with key stakeholders whilst being mentored by Data Leads.

**Mandate**:
Support our Customer's Data migration project from Cloudera to AWS Data Services. Success will come from the ability to clarify/confirm requirements and meet the expectations of Stakeholders to deliver, along with problem solving ability.

**What you will be doing**
- Plan and execute Cloudera to AWS migration, focusing on HMS and AWS Glue.
- Ensure consistent, reliable data integration across platforms.
- Automate migration, synchronisation, and workflow processes.
- Work with data and platform engineers to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support incident response and resilience documentation for knowledge transfer and certification.

**Technology/Tools**:

- **AWS, Glue, Lake formation, Redshift, EMR**
- **Cloudera, Hive Metastore (HMS)**
- **Python / bash / YAML**
