About the Role
We're seeking a Sales Engineer to help grow our market share by managing a designated sales territory across Western Australia and South Australia.
You'll report to the Regional Manager and join a warm, welcoming team that will provide you with the tools and support you need to succeed.
Your primary focus will be to drive sales and achieve growth objectives while upholding SICK's market leadership in diverse industries.
You'll engage directly with OEMs, integrators, and end-users across key sectors including electronics, machines & motion, and basic materials (e.g. mining).
You'll also be working on a dynamic array of projects, collaborating closely with various teams along the way
This role is based at our East Perth office; however, you'll spend a significant amount of time actively engaging with customers across your territory.
About You
You're a confident sales professional who:
Has a solid track record of driving sales growth and delivering results
Brings at least 2 years of experience in Territory Sales or a similar customer-facing technical role
Knows how to manage a territory strategically and build lasting customer partnerships
Brings strong communication skills and a proactive, self-driven approach
Holds a degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or brings equivalent industry experience
Understands industrial automation and sensor technologies—or is keen to learn
Has experience in basic materials (mining), factory automation, or similar
Enjoys working independently while staying connected with wider teams
Is open to regular travel.
