Light & Wonder are currently seeking a WHS Facilities Manager for a short term contract.
**About the Role**
The WHS Facilities Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the services required to ensure the effective management of buildings. The position is also responsible for WH&S, Rehabilitation, and return to work.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Organise repairs and general building maintenance
- Manage security cards, stationery, couriers
- Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance requirements
- Establish, maintain or replace contractor services as required
- Coordinate building parking
- Maintain office furniture and fittings
- Manage the cleanliness of the buildings
- Liaise with IT regarding building security coding
- Out of hours calls for building security
- Plan/coordinate office renovation and space allocation
- Ensure that all working environments meet the requisite WHS standards
- Ensure adequate provision of first aid facilities
- Manage the reception areas and receptionists
- Manage maintenance staff
- After hours security calls
**Knowledge, Skills & abilities**:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to implement budgetary control
- Significant management experience in a diverse workplace
- Seek out opportunities for operational improvements
- Ensure accessibility to provide advice and guidance to staff
- Build and sustain an effective team to meet the business objectives
- Time management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
- Maturity to deal with people at all levels of the organisation
- People Management/Leadership skills

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
