As part of their APAC Legal Team, you'll play a key role in supporting people and operations across the Asia Pacific region, while working closely with colleagues from their global network.The Opportunity We're seeking an Legal Counsel/Senior Counsel Employment & Litigation for a -month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Legal Manager – Employment & Litigation, this role provides high-quality legal advice across employment, workplace relations, litigation, and regulatory matters impacting the APAC businesses.
This is a broad, hands-on role with exposure to senior leadership teams, complex disputes, and high-profile projects.
It's a great opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to bring their expertise to a purpose-driven, global organisation.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide expert advice on employment law, workplace relations, equal opportunity, diversity, and WHS matters.
Manage litigation and disputes, including advocacy, drafting court documents, mediations and working with external legal advisors.
Advise on regulatory matters impacting APAC businesses.
Support senior management and boards with strategic legal advice and reporting.
About You A law degree and current Australian practising certificate (mandatory).
Minimum 6+ years PQE, ideally from a law firm plus in-house corporate experience.
Strong background in employment / workplace law and dispute resolution.
Advocacy experience (Fair Work Commission or courts) highly regarded.
Working knowledge of privacy and Australian Consumer Law desirable.
Exceptional communication skills, resilience, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
