**About the Company**

Gain valuable real-life experience working with a large NSW organisation as an Advertising Manager. This role is based in Parramatta and is on a 12-month contract paying up to $81.65 + super.

**About the Role**
- Develop and implement communication strategies to address key issues that may impact objectives and internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice to staff and managers dealing with situations involving the media and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational communication programs, policies and guidelines to support staff to undertake considered and consistent stakeholder engagement activities.
- Develop, plan and implement social media initiatives that build awareness of and support the implementation of EPA corporate strategies, plans and objectives, including analysing and monitoring the ongoing accessibility and effectiveness of social media platforms.
- Develop and review communication materials suitable for the media and other stakeholders to promote the work, activities and objectives.

**About You**
- Experience in issues management, journalism and/or communication planning.
- Knowledge and appreciation of the workings of government, parliament, legislative processes and public sector principals.
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of new communication technologies and social media.
