Join our Perth Airport team as a Chef in a casual position.
What does a typical day look like?
You will be working in a busy, open-plan kitchen preparing and cooking various international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities for our customer airlines.
Main responsibilities include:
Preparing hot and cold meals for Business and Economy class passengers for various international and domestic airlines.
Stock control and minimizing food wastage.
Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times.
Strictly following menu specifications as well as food safety / HACCP, WHS, and QSAI policies.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications preferred, or equivalent level of experience.
Passion and drive to deliver high-quality food to our customers.
Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Motivated, hardworking, and with a good attitude.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
As this role is in the Aviation Services industry, a clear National Police Check will be required.
Availability to work 38 hours per week, as this is a full-time permanent position.
