About the company/role:Well-known food/beverage manufacturing companyLocated in the northern suburbs of Hobart, TasmaniaSeeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Quality team5 weeks casual contract (covering leave in the team)Part-time hours (3-4 days a week including weekend work)Duties, but not limited to :Collection of samplesChemical and microbiological testing of samplesSensory testing of samplesCalibration of instrumentsAssisting in production issues and internal auditsEnsuring GMP standardsGeneral housekeepingFull training will be provided.
Skills/experience: Bachelor of Science (majoring in Food Science, Chemistry or closely related discipline)Previous laboratory or dairy experience would be highly advantageousReliable and good work ethic Great attention to detailExcellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentGraduates highly encouraged to apply
