Fresh Leaf is a fast growth fresh herb and leafy greens business with significant growth opportunities from operational expansion and optimisation of our sustainable farming models. We're focused on evolving a traditional industry of leafy vegetable growing from diminishing market gardeners, to a new technology driven and sustainable format.

**The Role**:
We have an opening for a Production Team Leader to help manage the day-to-day activity of the production team at our Clyde farm.

The Production Team Leader works to oversee the harvesting and packing of all daily orders of culinary herbs dispatched to supermarkets, wholesalers and retailers, while ensuring all stock is packed to the correct product specifications and completed by the required deadlines each day.

Currently our team of 30+ pickers and packers process and dispatch in excess of 30,000 units of product each day across a 6-day week, with production continually expanding.

If you have experience leading a team in any industry, including retail and fast-food, we would be happy to train you up on herbs and how our state of the art farms work.

Please note; this role will be a full time role on a rotating roster Monday - Saturday.

**Key Tasks**:
Oversee team of 30+ harvesters and packers to ensure produce meets specifications, and is completed on time

Daily set up for operation start up and shut down procedure

Responsible for daily production scheduling and allocation of team members

Ensure all staff work within and comply to the company's processes

Responsible for quality assessments of products produced by the team

Maintaining a safe and clean work area

Ensuring staff are adhering to food safety principles at all times

Assign daily tasks to each staff member, ensuring KPIs are met and increase efficiency and productivity of teams

Skills and Experience:
Fantastic communicator with co-workers, management and customers from a diverse range of backgrounds

Good physical fitness

Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills

Ability to work well under pressure to tight daily deadlines

Highly motivated to succeed and work as a team

Results orientated

Experience in fresh produce

Good with numbers

Computer literate

Understanding and commitment to food safety practices

**Remuneration**:
We offer an exciting sign-on bonus as well, with $250 paid at 3 months, and another $250 paid on completing probation.
