Responsibilities:

- Responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient telecommunication services by installing, maintaining, and repairing external telecommunication equipment and infrastructure.

**Duties**:

- Install and maintain aerial lines, conduits, and underground cables
- Construct and maintain radio and mobile phone antennae, towers, and supporting structures
- Install and test limited items of terminal equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on telecommunication equipment and infrastructure
- Work at height, and in a variety of weather conditions

Must hold the below licenses
- White Card - CPCWHS1001 (Minimum 1 Year)
- Working at Heights or Irata Level 1 (Minimum 1 Year)
- Elevated work platform (TLILIC0005) (desirable)

Essential Skills Required:

- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks and equipment
- Ability to work at heights
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license (where required)
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment

Employment Experience Required:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in telecommunications line work, including installation, maintenance, and repair

Registration/Licensing Requirements:

- Not applicable

Rate

$35-$45 per hour

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
