**About the client**:
Our client is the State's largest community-based NFP conservation organization. Operating several important museums and historic properties and archaeological artifacts. Committed to providing educational and cultural services that will enhance public knowledge and enjoyment of these resources and is significantly reliant on the support of over 1,000 volunteers to deliver these service

**About the Role**:
The HR/Volunteer Coordinator is an end-to-end volunteer engagement role, responsible for developing and implementing a range of policies, induction processes, recruitment, training, and engagement strategies to retain and grow volunteer numbers, proficiency, and compliance.

This is a great opportunity to join a close knit, organized, and supportive team.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Managing volunteer administration and engagement
- Assisting with the recruitment process as required
- Database and online portal management
- WHS, induction and compliance coordination for staff and volunteers
- Collate information and draft reports and other documents

**To be successful you will have**:

- Demonstrated advanced administrative experience
- Experience working with/managing and supporting volunteers and Human Resources, preferably in the cultural or not-for-profit sector
- Proficient with MS Office products, survey tools and database management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Prioritization and coordination skills are a must to engage a diverse volunteer and staff workforce
