The RoleOur family-owned workshop has immediate vacancies for Experienced Vehicle Painters to join our team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Full-time Vehicle Painter role includes the following tasks and duties:Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailingApplication and blocking of filler and primersMetal preparation for paintSpray paintingPrime and top coatColour matchingMixing paints to the right colour and consistencyMaintaining and cleaning equipmentStoring paints in the correct conditionsQualifications & RequirementsAbility to work independently in a time and safe manner and in a team from time to timeQualified vehicle painter with at least 3 years experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of qualificationsAttention to detail and pride in your workExperience working with a variety of makes and models is preferredPrestige vehicle experience – such as Mercedes, BMW would be highly regardedUnderstanding of workplace health and safetySalaryAnnual Salary Range $58,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation - commensurate to skill set and experience.About the CompanyMach 1 Panel and Paint is Mornington Peninsula's finest automotive accident repairer.Opportunity for extra income with overtime available from time to time.
