Doogood Surface Coatings Pty Ltd are market leaders in the specialised coatings industry, providing services to industries such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Defence, Construction and Manufacturing.Since being established in 2001, we have learnt that the best philosophy is to provide the highest quality product combined with the highest standard of customer service.To ensure these high standards are continually met, and as a result of recently won defence and automotive contracts, the opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Spray Painter to join our expanding business.We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in the spray-painting industry, based in Mornington, Victoria.Key Duties & Responsibilities Perform spray painting tasks on a variety of different surfaces (primarily from defence and automotive industries)Prepare items/parts for the application of coatings (cleaning, masking etc)Comply with job cards and company procedure to ensure client specifications are metComplete necessary paperworkPrioritise workflow and ensure work is completed to quality standardsComply with OH&S guidelines at all timesMaintain a clean and tidy workspaceAssist in other tasks on the factory floor as requiredSkills & RequirementsSpray Painting experience 2+ years (automotive, defence or aerospace preferable but not essential)Experience with masking and preparation of partsHigh attention to detailCurrent Forklift License (preferable, not essential)Punctual and reliableTraining and upskilling of staff is a main priority of our business.
