**About the Role**:
Help shape the future programs of Dairy Australia in Animal Health, Fertility and Welfare with our Development and Regional Adaptation Lead (DRA) - Animal Health Fertility and Welfare role. This role will work collaboratively with our Technical and Extension teams to create, review and refine our extension offering within the Animal Health, Fertility and Welfare domain.

Our goal is to improve the learning activities for farmers and sharing of knowledge, both from new research and existing practices. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, has practical experience in extension but also the technical nouse to help translate and develop quality extension programs focusing on adult learning principles. You may be a Vet, Animal Scientist or Extension Advisor looking for a change and if so, we would love to chat further with you about this role.

To make an impact in this role, you will have a farmer first mindset and a determination to drive successful and practical outcomes for farmers utilising your technical expertise within a whole farm system context. The DRA will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify desired on-farm practice change and will have the ability to integrate new and established knowledge and provide innovative thinking and insights to create engaging pathways for farmers to adopt new practices in their businesses.

A tertiary qualification in Veterinary or Animal science or significant demonstrated experience in agriculture in the Animal Health, Fertility and Welfare area/s adaptation or related RD&E space is what we are keen to explore with you.. Post graduate qualifications would be highly regarded as would Cert 4 TAE will also be highly regarded.
