We are seeking an experienced Senior Animator to join our team. This role will involve working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to craft high-quality game motions and cinematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Motion Capture editing and Key Framing to create engaging gameplay mechanics, in-game cinematics, viewmodel/weapon animations or 3rd person vignettes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in camera animation, cinematic framing, shot continuity, and facial animation.
  • Rapidly respond to feedback and iterate to achieve the highest polish level for AAA titles.
  • Troubleshoot tool implementations and drive workflow improvements to increase team efficiency and creativity.
  • Collaborate with production to address performance concerns, assess project scope, and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
  • Strong professional animation experience
  • In-depth experience as a game animator
  • Knowledge of Cinematic and Motion Capture Editing and cleanup
  • Strong animation fundamentals with a focus on human movement
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technology
  • Expert animating skills in the Maya environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication across departments
  • Ability to mentor junior animators and lead by example

An understanding of character creation (modeling, texturing, and rigging) is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in participating in live previs shoots to clarify tone, choreography, and pacing for mocap actors.
