**The role**

As a member of the Crown Hotels Perth leadership team, the Leisure Manager is accountable for managing and overseeing the pool and gymnasium operations across Crown Towers, Crown Metropol and Crown Promenade hotels. This role requires understanding and awareness of the aquatic legislation required to operate the facilities and is the responsible manager on site for all compliance and pool licensing requirements.

The role is also responsible for leading the Lifeguard operations and Fitness facilities ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by maintaining all facilities and service standards.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage day to day operations of pool and fitness operations.
- Develop and review Workplace Instructions (WI)
- Schedule and manage the allocation of labour to meet operational needs
- To maintain smooth operational tasks such as rostering and payroll expense management
- To train, provide guidance and support to team leaders.
- Report to Manager on team and business performance.
- Maintain close contact with guests, receiving feedback regarding the service delivery of leisure and fitness operations.
- To maintain presentation and aesthetics of all of the facilities.

**About you**
- Patron rescue / Lifeguard certificate.
- Demonstrated experience within the leisure and aquatic industry.
- Strong customer service background and ability to lead teams to a high service culture.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Exceptional planning, communication, and conflict negotiation skills
- Demonstrated operational management experience.
