You will be leading a small diverse construction admin team and therefore you know how to lead, drive, and inspire a team. You are always happy to listen to another person's point of view, but you won't tolerate laziness and you will not close your eyes to second rate administration work

We recognize that our greatest asset is our employees, and we are seeking a passionate and experienced Building Administration Team Leader to take our Residential Administration to new heights

You have exceptional knowledge of Onsite Companion software, as part of your role will be to induct new staff on the program, keep up to date with any changes that might benefit the residential team and roll out any new updates to the wider team. As well as leading the whole residential administration team you will also be a support to the Service and Warranty team, you will provide an exceptional support and service to all clients within the GemLife portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide a personalised and exceptional service to all clients, while following the Service and Warranty processes and procedures
- Process and schedule Service & Warranty works with clients, suppliers & trades alongside your team.
- Manage Service and Warranty appointments and new bookings.
- Approving supplier/trade invoices and raising purchase orders
- Liaise with trades to ensure inspections and works are being carried out in a timely manner and to the required standard
- Finalising works with client to confirm satisfactory repairs. Address customer enquiries and escalating to the Construction Manager where necessary
- Manage subcontractor relationships
- Attend regular collaborative workflow meetings.
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with excellent time management.
- Good understanding of the residential construction industry, including contracts

**A self-starter with the ability to work lead a team and create a great work culture**
- Min 5 years' experience in construction industry
- Demonstrated construction administration experience.
- Experience with a residential construction company in Australia is must.
- Proven experience of approvals for residential projects.
- Ability to deal with clients and liaise with them.
- Exceptional organisational skills and follow-through
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Proven ability to trouble-shoot and effectively meet deadlines in order to meet established performance standards.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with many people in a positive and customer focused manner.
- Strong computing skills and knowledge.
- A hands-on individual with strong organisational skills, highly capable of multi-tasking, with high-level attention to detail.
- The capacity to learn new tasks and processes quickly.
