The Security Partner Development (SPD) team mission is to build trust with our customers by working with our partners to build innovative products and services that will enable our customers and communities to keep their identities, devices, environments and information safe.

**Responsibilities**:
**The purpose of this role**

Within the Security, Compliance and Identity (SCI) business, this individual serves as our security strategy advisor and is goaled to work with our partners to build unique, market leading solutions on the Microsoft platform through all stages of the sales cycle, from envisioning and build-with to deployment with our customers, in addition to GTM and driving scale through co-selling with our partners. This role will also partner closely with all types of security partners and stakeholders across Microsoft

**Build and Scale with partners**:

- Bring impactful market insights into partner engagements and develop solutions that deliver business value
- Recruit and develop deep relationships with security, compliance and identity advisory, services and ISV partners who can work with us to develop repeatable solutions at scale.
- Work with our Global Black Belt (GBB) team to scale wins through partners in a sell-with environment by promoting the partner within the Microsoft ecosystem to deliver joint success
- Leverage Microsoft investment programs as relevant to support partner PoC and PoV engagements to ensure success

**Supports Strategy Development**
- Lead conversations and develop strategies for best practice sharing and contribute ideas that can be instituted across Microsoft.
- Build competitive knowledge and shares within the community to drive change and escalations for competitive selling strategies.
- Work with local marketing teams to deliver airlifts, events and product messaging and evangelism at scale.

**Sales Excellence**
- Act as a thought leader and engage in Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings to plan and review strategic partner engagement to pursue targeted customer opportunities and business growth.
- Develop a portfolio plan to drive intentional selling and lead forecasting with the assigned partners and identify portfolio gaps to drive new partner recruitment where needed.
- Drive internal alignment and pipeline reviews with Partner Development Managers and respective ecosystem partners to ensure solution pipeline growth.

- Enjoys creating new opportunities with partners, solving complex problems, and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Partner sales experience with a track record in security and compliance
- Experience in enterprise and solution-based sales
- Demonstrated experience influencing Cx and senior stakeholders
- Understanding of Microsoft's Security, Compliance, and Identity strategy
- Strong relationship building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Proven competency to collaborate cross organizations, deal with ambiguity and drive impact without direct authority

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field AND 5+ years' experience in business consulting, sales, account or partner management, business development, or a related field
OR equivalent experience.
