**ABOUT THE ROLE**
A Customer Service Representative is in most instances the first point of contact for all customer communications. Must handle inquiries, complaints, provide appropriate solutions for customers, and follow up to resolve any issues.
- Adhering to the Company's Quality Control Policy and Procedure
- Ensure record keeping is maintained and audited
- Ensure the identification and reporting of all nonconforming items
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with Work, Health & Safety Policies and Procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Policies and Procedures and legislative requirements.
- Develop a working relationship with assigned customers
- Ensure all customer interaction leaves the customer having a positive experience
- Resolve customer queries and provide solutions where possible.
- Escalate all queries immediately where unable to meet a customer request
- Manage complaints and resolve them where possible.
- Escalate all complaints that require management involvement.
- Take ownership of prompt, accurate, and timely communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with warehouse & transport documentation with regard to Chain of Responsibility legislative requirements
- Prepare and maintain KPI reports for assigned customers
- Comply with standard operating procedures for all activities including stock transfers, billing, order generation, and pending chargers.
- Assist with the coordination of stocktakes, customer visits & other onsite activities
- Other tasks as required or directed, consistent with skills, qualifications, and experience, deemed necessary to meet the needs of the business.
**ABOUT THE CANDIDATE**
- High school certificate
- Experience in the transport, supply chain, and logistics industry is highly desirable.
- Previous customer service experience
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills across all levels, both oral and written.
- Must have a positive can-do attitude and ability to work strongly within a team.
- Experience with conflict resolution
- Experience with warehouse management systems is highly desirable
- Intermediate Outlook & MS Excel Skills.
