Director of Physiotherapy Position
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of physiotherapists and provide professional governance across all clinical settings.
The successful candidate will be part of the executive leadership team and report directly to the District Director of Allied Health, with a dual role as Head of Department at a nominated facility.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing strategic leadership and professional governance for physiotherapists working in Sydney Local Health District (SLHD)
Developing and implementing professional standards, workforce planning, governance and quality assurance in physiotherapy services
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders internally and externally to SLHD, including partnerships with universities
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
Demonstrated high-level leadership and management skills, particularly in the health service setting
Ability to develop and implement teaching, research, writing for publication and clinical practice advancement for the discipline of physiotherapy
