**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Produce market analysis, keeping the desk aware of market sensitive news**

**Suggest trades and spreading opportunities to the desk that you notice on the screen and in the broker market**

**Support the Traders on your assigned desk**

**Accurately input trades**

**Pass on all information accurately from brokers**

**Person Specification**:
**1-2 years prior experience in Trading is desirable**

**Holds a tertiary degree in Finance, Maths, Engineering, Science, Commerce or Economics**

**Ability to code in Python is preferable**

**Excellent quantitative modelling is desirable but not essential**

**Excellent analytical skills**

**Statistically minded with effective problem solving skills**

**Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment**

**Interest in trading and how the markets operate**

**The ability to multitask and effectively distribute attention to competing priorities**

**Excellent communication skills**

**Humility**
