Andy Cooks is looking for a skilled and organisedChef/Recipe Testerto join our team for an exciting upcoming project.
This 8-month contract role will see you working directly alongside Andy to prep, test, and refine recipes that will be enjoyed by a global audience.
You'll be hands-on in the kitchen every day, prepping ingredients, cleaning and doing dishes, testing recipes, making adjustments, and providing clear feedback and notes to perfect each dish.
You'll also contribute to writing and making rough edits to recipes, ensuring they're clear, accurate, and true to Andy's style.
This is a fixed term (8 months) full time contract role based in our Sydney studio.
What we're looking for:
Professional kitchen experience (restaurant, catering, or similar)
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience testing and refining recipes with attention to detail
Written skills for recipe notes and edits
Good understanding of Andy's cooking style and flavour profiles
Organised and able to manage multiple recipes and prep schedules
Passion for cooking and willingness to get hands-on with all aspects of prep and testing
