**About this role**
Do you find purpose in developing and implementing marketing and communications plans? As the Marketing Manager for Western Australia, you will use your deep understanding of the local market and client base to ensure Arup is well placed to showcase our unique organisation and the expertise we offer. Every day you will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior managers and contribute to the local and Australasian regions marketing plan.

**What will I do?**
- Collaborate with the West Australian business to understand, identify, challenge and formulate marketing responses to ensure Arup is well placed to win work with clients and secure desired projects.
- Deliver value adding marketing and communication solutions across the West Australian markets and client analysis to inform local and regional plans, integrated marketing and communications plans, programs and campaigns that deliver measurable return.
- Provide advice and plans to support specific local market emerging opportunities and pipeline, market profile and positioning activities, enabling effective key account management of clients and local business and industry associations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to showcase and promote Arup's credentials and expertise through capturing compelling project stories, facilitating award submissions in collaboration with the marketing and communications centre of excellence.
- Guide the local marketing and communication team by providing direction, guidance, mentorship and professional development.

**What will I bring?**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce or relate field, as well as knowledge of and interest in advisory, built environment, as well as sustainability and related industry participants, competitor landscape and future trends.
- Extensive, relevant experience in strategic marketing and communication roles within mature marketing and communications functions or client account management/sales enablement functions, experience across a wide range of marketing disciplines is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing and business development practices, as well as strong business and commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to manage significant initiatives through collaborative team based approached and effective stakeholder management.
- A commitment to enabling positive, respectful, and inclusive team environments by leading by example, coaching and motivating people in complex environments.
