THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity for a Rotating Shift Production Operator (Morning/Afternoon) to join our team at our Rooftiles manufacturing site in Springvale, Victoria. You shift will be rotating one week day shift, one week afternoon shift as per below:
- Monday to Thursday 4.30am to 2.00pm, Friday 4.30am to 12.30pm
- Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 11.00pm, Friday 12.15pm to 9.15pm.
Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, be keen to multi-skill, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in the maintenance and operation of the tile production line to produce interlocking concrete roof tiles. Training will be provided.
- Preparation of the machine ready for the commencement of the following shift including calibration, cleaning, Operator Asset Care and test running.
- Perform quality testing procedures to ensure that products meet the requirements of the Australian Standard,
- Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
- Minor troubleshooting of problems during machine operation and preventative maintenance (basic machine cleaning).

- Attractive hourly rate $30.59 plus shift premium where applicable 15% on afternoon shift and 30% on night shift. (EBA) + super + bonuses
