About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified Financial Investment Advisor to join our growing team in Sydney.
This role is ideal for an experienced financial professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-centric environment and is passionate about helping clients achieve their investment goals through tailored financial advice.
Responsibilities
Provide compliant, high-quality financial advice to retail and wholesale clients across a range of investment products (e.g. equities, funds, ETFs, derivatives).
Conduct client discovery meetings to assess financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
Prepare and present Statements of Advice and tailored investment proposals.
Build and manage long-term client relationships through regular portfolio reviews and performance reporting.
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure best-practice advice and strategy.
Collaborate closely with internal departments including compliance, trading, and product development.
Ensure adherence to ASIC regulations and internal compliance frameworks at all times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Insurance or a closely related discipline
At least 3 years' experience advising retail and/or wholesale clients on multi-asset portfolios
ASIC RG 146 accreditation (General and Personal Advice) with demonstrated application in practice
Strong understanding of international financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management principles.
Proven ability to build client relationships and maintain high ethical standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mandarin or other Asian language skills highly regarded but not essential.
Experience with international client base is a plus.
