Transfer Agency (Unit Registry) Manager, AVP
Who we are looking for:
A Manager in Transfer Agency (Unit Registry), responsible for managing and motivating the team to meet daily operational needs. The candidate should lead by example, leverage individual strengths, identify development opportunities, and embrace change to improve efficiency and reduce risk within the team.
Why this role is important to us:
The team is part of State Street Global Services (SSGS), providing essential financial tools to asset owners and managers, including custody, accounting, fund administration, and more, to facilitate effective investment solutions.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of operational registry and reporting to clients.
Manage client relationships strategically and tactically, aligning client requirements with SSAL capabilities.
Facilitate staff training, development, and performance reviews.
Understand core offerings and increase process efficiencies.
Provide auditing support during peak periods.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of core registry processes, AML/FATCA/CRS rules, and RG97 regulations.
Knowledge of fund accounting operations.
Leadership skills in managing teams, coaching, recruitment, motivation, and staff development.
Effective liaison skills across organizational levels.
Qualifications in accounting, business, finance, or related fields; experience in the finance industry, client servicing, and IT proficiency.
