Hunting With Pixels is a video production company that specialised in building trust and optimism about the future.

We work mainly in education, technology and engineering, and we focus on communication, with a very strong ethos around authenticity and inclusion.

Being filmed is a bit daunting for most of our clients and interviewees, so we work hard to create an encouraging and friendly atmosphere when we shoot.

We also capture stories where creating a supportive, encouraging environment is key to helping others build the courage to share.

With that in mind, we're looking for someone who can help us shoot our videos in a way that puts people first. This means you'd be someone who loves people and their stories, and only used technology as a tool. We hire on attitude and values first: tech skills can be learned.

Since 70-80% of our clients are female, so we strongly encourage female shooters to apply. That doesn't mean we won't consider male shooters of course: we just value good balance.

We're looking for multiple shooters, anywhere from mid level to very experienced. Every project required a different approach.

We shoot on Panasonic GH6 and Blackmagic but you're welcome to use your own kit.

This role is freelance/casual initially but there's a lot of work to be done and I'm trying to get my hands off the tools so I can do the BDM and the running of the company more.
