**The Department**

SBS is the most multilingual public broadcaster in the world. With 60 plus language services, we deliver news, information and entertainment and inspire social cohesion by connecting communities through multilingual conversations, helping everyone feel at home in Australia.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Deputy Editor, the Social Video Producer, Social Cohesion Unit would see you:

- Participating in multiplatform content ideation and assist with editorial planning and implementation
- Creating English content for ALC language teams' social media platforms as advised by the editorial leads and collaborate with language producers to produce in-language versions
- Working with language producers to monitor and analyse user data and audience metrics from social media tools to assess performance and to inform content planning and engagement strategies

**About you**
- Exceptional social video production skills
- Demonstrated understanding of cross-platform journalism production processes
- Demonstrated experience using and understanding best practice on video social platforms: primarily YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and/or Tik Tok.

This role is being offered on a fixed term contract for 13 months, with a potential view to extension.
