Job Title
A senior security engineer plays a pivotal role in safeguarding an organization's information systems.
The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain robust security controls to protect corporate applications, systems, cloud infrastructure, and endpoints.
Develop and enforce comprehensive security protocols, ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities and optimal system performance.
Analyse potential security threats and vulnerabilities in real-time, taking swift action to mitigate risks.
Maintain a deep understanding of security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, and cryptography.
Cultivate strong working relationships with IT and other security teams to share insights on emerging threats and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on technical security operations and security tooling.
Expertise in SIEM tools (notably Splunk) and network security technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
