As a result, we are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager on behalf of one of our key clients.Our client is a well-established civil construction company with a strong presence in the public infrastructure space.
Their capabilities span road construction, asphalt paving, drainage, and minor earthworks, servicing both government and private clients across WA and Victoria.With an expanding footprint and a healthy pipeline of work, this is a newly created leadership opportunity suited to an experienced Project Manager ready to step up, or an established Operations Manager looking to grow with a dynamic and forward-thinking business.What can you expect in our role:Lead, manage, and execute a variety of civil projects, with a strong focus on roadworks and surfacingManage project programs and schedules to meet delivery targetsOversee budget performance, forecasting, and financial control measuresManage client relationships, including scope development, pricing, and additional worksAdminister contracts and manage variations in line with commercial obligationsOversee the procurement and coordination of plant, equipment, and project resourcesEnsure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental management systemsProvide timely reporting, including end-of-month cost reviews and project updatesCollaborate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and local communities to deliver best-for-project outcomesLiaise with local authorities, utility providers, and community groups to support smooth project deliveryYour backgroundGreat people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills.Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineYou may be an experienced Project Manager ready to step up, or an established Operations Manager looking to take on new and challenging civil infrastructure projectsProven experience in road construction, surfacing, and traffic managementDemonstrated ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders — including clients, subcontractors, councils, and internal teamsStrong commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail and problem-solvingAPPLY online today.
