Working across the Asia Pacific region with a focus on Australia, China and Japan, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive advice on all aspects of employment law.You will support and collaborate with partners across Human Resources (HR) (Business Partners, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Talent, Compensation, Total Rewards and Global Mobility), Enterprise Risk, Ethics & Compliance, and business professionals across the regional CSL business units.Reporting to the Global Head, Labour & Employment Law you willBe a subject matter expert and provide direct legal guidance on all Australian employment law matters including discrimination allegations, counselling, investigations, grievances and terminationsProvide succinct and direct employment law advice that is strategic, business-focussed, risk-conscious, compliant and actionableWork with Industrial Relations to actively participate in Enterprise Agreement strategy, support negotiations and claims analysis and impact to the organisationManage and assess employment law items across APAC, utilising local internal legal support where availableOversee outside counsel, and represent company where appropriate, in litigation and agency mattersQualificationsLLB or JD from an Australian universityAdmission to practise in Victoria, AustraliaDemonstrated experience in Australian Employment law matters, in-house experience desirableExperience in conducting or overseeing complex employment related items and working effectively within a matrixed organisational structureHow to ApplyApply now to join an Australia icon working at our new CBD global head office
