We're looking for a passionate and hands-onConference & Events Supervisorto oversee the smooth delivery of food and beverage service across our large and dynamic events space.
From corporate conferences to elegant celebrations, you'll play a key role in ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service.This could be just the right role for you?
As the Conference & Events Supervisor, you'll be responsible for directing a team of Food & Beverage Attendants, coordinating service delivery, and supporting management in achieving operational goals.
You'll be the go-to person during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Your key responsibilities for the role include:Provide clear direction, training and hands on leadership to F&B Attendants, leading by example to deliver high-quality servicePerform food & beverage duties including order taking, food/beverage running, coffee making and bar serviceCommunicate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure smooth service and resolve guest concerns professionally & promptlyOversee event operations including set up, pack down, balance float, takings and end of day reportingMonitor and manage staffing roster levels and payroll within budgetSupport the management team to order stock, minimise wastage and manage inventory efficientlyEnsure procedures and policies are followed and completedFoster and maintain a safe and motivating work environmentFull availability and flexibility to work a weekly rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holiday is essential in this role.Shift times will vary between 5am - midnight/2am, depending on the event needs.What you'll need to be successfulPrevious experience in a C&E F&B Supervisor role, preferably within a C&E or 4/5-star hotel/resort environment, with a knowledge of C&E operations and F&B service proceduresPassion for the hospitality industry and service excellence with attention to detailLeadership, communication, time management and problem solving skillsUnderstanding of rostering and labour cost control, training and development of staffAbility to perform physical duties and present with excellent grooming and personal presentationWe are OfferingPermanent Full-timeCompetitive salary + penalties evenings, weekends & public holidaysGenerous employee discounts on RACV products & resortsEmployee of the month awards & recognitionprograms + healthy team cultureTraining and development for career progressionLaundered UniformComplimentary parking onsiteThe RACV differenceChallenge yourselfwith diverse work and go further than you thought at RACV.Application processYou can learn more about the RACV at careers.racv.com.auApplicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and consent to a criminal record check.Additionally, Applicants must confirm their ability to perform the inherent requirements of the position as outlined in the Job Task Analysis - Food & Beverageand whether any reasonable adjustments may be required.At RACV, we believe that maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace is an important element in our continued success.
