**Associate - Compensation Consultant**:

**We will count on you to**:

- Applies consulting skills, technical expertise, relevant methodologies and professional judgment to client projects.
- Demonstrates intellectual leadership and consistently tests final deliverables for completeness, relevance, and high impact against client issues and needs.
- Plans, designs, resources and manages client projects and directs staff in executing the plan. Delivers projects on time and within budget
- Nurtures key client relationships, identifies opportunities to broaden or deepen these relationships in partnership with senior consultants, anticipating and responding to future client needs
- Support Business Development initiatives and proposals
- Develop own and other's capability through informal and formal learning opportunities
- Participate in internal projects to improve Mercer, in particular talent, quality, service delivery, internal efficiency/effectiveness and intellectual capital

**What you need to have**:

- Relevant undergraduate qualification is essential
- Experience in delivering and developing human capital services in corporate and/or consulting contexts across a number of industries
- Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to effectively manage people
- Solid client management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Strong teaming capability in order to work collaboratively with colleagues across service areas on business development activities, client relationship management and delivery of integrated solutions
- Able to operate effectively in ambiguous situations with limited supervision, to multitask and to manage the pressure of competing deadlines without becoming unduly stressed
- Detail orientation and high quality outputs
- Client centric mindset
- Uses initiative and drives to outcomes
