**Our Family**:

- I am looking for someone to be a lead at our on site babysitting during a conference being held in Melbourne CBD. The event runs from Sunday 13 July (afternoon set up), and runs until Thursday evening. See below for further details. There will be 3-4 children aged between 5 and 8 years old, and we will have a dedicated space set up with activities to entertain the children during the day. The children are travelling to Melbourne from various locations, and their parents will be on site but in a different location at the conference during the day. They will bring their own food, but you will provide the entertainment (using all the activities and materials supplied) and will serve as the lead liaison with the conference organisers on the ground (with my help, just a phone call away). A schedule of activities for each day will be provided, as well as all the materials required to complete them.

**Your Duties**:

- Sun 13 July: support set up in the afternoon, and run through the schedule for the week Mon 14, Tues 15, Wed 16 July / 9 hours - 8:00am - 5:30pm / 3 children (you will have an extra support person with you on this day) Thurs 17 July : 8:00am - 5:30pm / 9 hours - / 2 children Across each day, you will have a schedule of activities to follow. As the lead, you will also be responsible for managing sign in and sign out of the children at the beginning and end of the day, and being the on site contact person for the event organiser. Any escalations will be led by you, via phone call to me. Pending parental consent, you may also be required to capture some photos to be used in social media after the event concludes. Children will bring their own food. All other facilities / amenity are provided on site. Pending weather, you may be required to lead a short excursion to a local park as one of the activities.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- I am looking for someone who is highly organised and used to being a liaison with parents. This is an ideal job for primary teachers on school holidays, looking for some extra work, or people who lead primary school extra curricular programs looking for some additional hours. You need to be proactive and be able to take the lead from the children to ensure they are having a good time and experiencing a variety of activities that keep them feeling happy and engaged for a full day. You also need to be confident in leading another caregiver throughout the day, as you will be the lead to ensure everything goes smoothly. Whilst a schedule will be provided, you may need to think on your feet to improvise and build in other activities as needed, to respond to how the children are going. Experience in extended child care / nannying / primary teaching may be helpful in this respect.
