Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client.Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help.
In addition, you will need:A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicleExperience of 3 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.The roleIn the role of Home Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services, such as:General housekeeping and making bedsCleaning, mopping and vacuuming floorsWashing, folding and ironing laundryMeal preparation and grocery shopping Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activitiesHelping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
