About the role
Come join our fabulous Learning team We have so much good stuff going on, you'll have an abundance of major change projects to get stuck into, diversity in your work and the best team EVER In this L&D Specialist role, there's an emphasis on content creation, (often from scratch) from manuals, through to onboarding content, if you love writing you're going to be a happy camper.
**Some specific deliverables**:
- Design relevant, targeted and innovative content and training programs to support specific learning projects and programs across the organisation (soft and technical skills)
- Structure content and activities to drive learner retention and engagement
- Adapt instructional design materials across templates ensuring consistency of training branding
- Develop assessment and knowledge check tools to measure learning retention
- Work with wider Training & Development team to develop train-the-trainer guides/materials to assist Line Managers with rolling out training/development initiatives
- Continually evaluate training materials to refine and develop ensuring relevance to learner needs and learning objectives
About You
You'll be an experienced learning specialist able to talk about your prior exposure of content development across a range of programs, audiences, and blended platforms. If you had the basics of instructional design under your belt, that would be helpful. You'll also bring:
- Proven experience in organisational development and change initiatives
- Exceptional written communication skills aligned to adult learning principles
- Strong organisation skills, results orientation and ability to perform under pressure and tight timelines
- A positive, professional outlook, passionate about people and development
- Active listener with an aptitude for training & coaching
