**The Role - Fundraising Program Manager**

Reporting to the CEO and working with a small close-knit team, the Fundraising Manager will play a vital role in reviewing the organisation's fundraising efforts and developing, implementing, and overseeing a multi-faceted annual fundraising portfolio.

This is a role well suited to a fundraiser who can think strategic but is equally able to roll their sleeves and get involved with the day to day operations to help develop a program that has huge scope to grow.

As the Fundraising Manager, you will shape and implement the fundraising strategy and create the donor journey across multiple fundraising streams with a focus on developing an individual giving strategy and appeals program to acquire, engage, inspire and retain donors.

This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven fundraiser, with expertise in campaign management to really make this role their own. It will suit a fundraiser who would is passionate about the environment, is a self-starter and eager to take the next step in their career. This role can be worked remotely with occasional travel to the Northern NSW office.

**As Fundraising Program Manager, you will be responsible for**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that is linked to the organisation's KPIs
- Manage and support activities of the fundraising team including face-to-face and peer-to-peer fundraising activities
- Manage the donor development cycle including donor identification, cultivation, solicitation and acknowledgment
- Influence the design and management of the recurring monthly giving (RMG) program so that profitably meets donor needs and is aligned to the mission and purpose
- Support the provision of regular communications for new and existing donors, including newsletters, website, social media content and EDMs
- Ensure ongoing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of existing donors and supporters
- Set, monitor and report on targets across the program including ongoing tracking of income and expenditure against budgets
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the fundraising database
- Identify areas of improvement within day-to-day activities that are inhibiting growth and as a result, recommend and implement changes
- Support prospect development activities and the movement of donors and prospects between the mid and major donor levels

**Skills and Attributes**
- Experience in a similar fundraising, marketing or sales role
- Experience working with a CRM system/database
- A diverse fundraising background with the ability to grow
- Experience and expertise in developing relationships and crafting communications plans
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- High level project management skills
- Experience in working to, and exceeding financial targets
- Knowledge of digital fundraising tools and media
- Understanding of the not-for-profit sector and best practice relationship-based fundraising
- Ability to work in a cross-functional structure
- A flexible self-starter who is resourceful and uses their initiative
- Entrepreneurial mindset, creative problem solver, solutions driven
