**About the role**

This is a unique opportunity to join the Advanced Analytics team. The Customer Analytics and Decision Science group plays a pivotal role in providing valuable insights into customer behaviours and preferences to inform decision making and strategic direction for Retail and Future Energy & Technology.

The Customer Analytics and Decision Science group consists of three key functions: Customer Analytics, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Optimisation/Segmentation. The CLV and Tariff Optimisation programs are key strategic priorities for Retail, contributing to a significant uplift in Retail earnings by FY24.

This role will predominantly focus on supporting the Customer Analytics function.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Key contact point for incoming insights requests.
- Provide analytical insight support across Electricity, Gas & Broadband portfolios.
- Become the expert in customer behaviour; identify problems/opportunities, investigate and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
- Lead senior stakeholder engagements to develop insights and recommendations to improve our business.
- Own key strategic initiatives.
- Present regular updates at key decision making forums.
- Curious and persistent in understanding how and why things happen.

**About you**
- Strong data analysis skills, developed through tertiary study and/or 8+ years of experience in previous roles.
- Evidence of using insights to support improved decisioning.
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to take ownership of initiatives, prioritise and deliver on time.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Proficient in the use of SQL and dashboarding (preferably Tableau).
