**Roles and responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the Ab Initio administration team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ab Initio environments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Develop and implement best practices for Ab Initio administration, including backup and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to support and optimize data integration workflows.
- Manage user access and security settings to maintain a secure environment.
- Perform regular system updates and patch management.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders.
- Document processes and procedures for effective knowledge sharing.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in Ab Initio, including GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, and Express>It. Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems.
- Strong knowledge of Ab Initio architecture, components, and tools.
- Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ab Initio environments.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Ab Initio administration,
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl) is a plus.
- Familiarity with other ETL tools and data integration technologies is a plus.
