**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the testing team in creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, cases, and scripts for Ab Initio ETL processes.
- Define and enforce testing strategies, standards, and best practices for ETL testing.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify test requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Oversee data validation, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing efforts.
- Guide testers on complex SQL queries, Unix scripting, and test automation.
- Ensure testing aligns with project timelines and deliverables, proactively addressing risks and challenges.
- Review and approve test documentation, including test plans, defect logs, and test summary reports.
- Monitor and report testing progress, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
- Mentor and upskill testing team members to enhance their technical and domain expertise.
- Stay updated on emerging testing tools and technologies to improve team efficiency.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- **Ab Initio Expertise**: Proven experience in testing Ab Initio solutions, including GDE, Plans, EME, and DQE.
- **Leadership**: Strong ability to lead and mentor a team of testers in a collaborative environment.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Expertise in SQL, Unix shell scripting, and ETL testing methodologies.
- **Testing Tools**: Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- **Data Validation**: Hands-on experience with data validation techniques and quality assurance processes.
- **SDLC Knowledge**: Deep understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong problem-solving abilities to address defects and performance issues.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders and project teams.
