**About the role**

Systems include Oracle Payroll, SAP Payroll, JDE Payroll, Kronos Workforce Central and Dimensions, HCM Cloud, PageUp, multiple LMS systems, various time capture systems and legacy payroll systems. Applications support Australian and New Zealand employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the delivery of compliant system configuration to ensure our employees are paid accurately.
- Contribute to and support processes, under the Downer Standard Framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including BSC Teams, HR Teams, Group Functions and Operational Teams to deliver quality solutions with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Understand the full Hire to Retire process - HR management (including learning and talent management), time capture, award interpretation and payroll systems across Downer.
- Understand project requirements - basic industrial instrument configuration, business needs and legislative requirements.
- Complete and provide input into configuration documentation to support all required system changes e.g. Industrial Instrument Agreement (IIA) templates, functional & technical specifications.
- Liaise with HR/IR/Business/BSC teams to manage appropriate approvals throughout the life cycle of all changes.
- Development of test scripts to support changes.
- Creation of data sets to support testing - SIT, UAT and parallel runs.
- Execute test scripts, record and manage defects.
- Management of data migration activities from strategy design to completion, verification, and approval.
- Liaise with Training Teams to ensure training documentation is reflective of all system changes and provide expertise to support development of training materials
- Post go live support for all changes.
- May be assigned to a project and report to the Project Manager for all project deliverables while ensuring the project adheres to HR/Payroll Systems methodology.

**What you'll bring**

Degree in Finance, IT or Human Resource Discipline OR appropriate work experience
- Experience in working in HR/Payroll teams as an SME in a large corporate environment.
- Understanding of IR principles, award interpretation and related system configurations.
- Exposure to business process design.
- Experience in working in HR/Payroll projects, with tight deadlines.
- Experience in working with IT technical teams in offshore and onshore model.
- Good functional/technical knowledge of HR/Payroll systems. Oracle Payroll experience required.
- Advanced MS Excel (Essential).
