Construction Lawyer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Construction Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in advising on construction and infrastructure projects.
Job Description:
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including EPC, O&M, development agreements, energy, green rights sales, and complex construction contracts.
Providing legal advice on matters such as land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A activity.
Working with external law firms to obtain legal advice and support when required.
Managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
4-7 years PQE with current practicing certificate.
Top-tier or mid-tier law firm experience with relevant construction or infrastructure experience.
Ability to understand commercial objectives and implement legal strategies to facilitate achievement of commercial objectives.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
A strong understanding of construction and operations contracts, land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A activity.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to work closely with the Procurement, Engineering & Construction teams.
You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating key contracts necessary for renewable project finance, construction, and operation.
