Renewable Energy Contracts Specialist

Overview:

Buscojobs offers a unique opportunity to work on renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate with our Procurement, Engineering & Construction teams to draft and negotiate key contracts necessary for finance, construction, and operation of renewable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of key contracts, including EPC, O&M, development agreements, energy, green rights sales, and complex construction contracts.
  • Providing legal advice on matters such as land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A activity.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the company to provide legal support and guidance.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Licensed to practice law and current practicing certificate.
  • Top-tier / mid-tier law firm experience with relevant construction or infrastructure experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of construction and operations contracts, land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A activity.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
