Are you passionate about patient care and dentistry? Chapel Gate Dental is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated **Dental Assistant** to join our professional and supportive team.

**What You'll Do**:

- Assist dentists during procedures with precision and care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental treatment rooms
- Welcome and prepare patients for treatment
- Take digital X-rays and dental impressions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support a clean, safe, and positive clinical environment
- This is a near full time position for 4 days a week, Monday to Saturday.

**The Practice**

We are a modern & family friendly dental practice serving the patient base from St Kilda and Balaclava region. We provide a high quality General, Cosmetic, & Implant dentistry in a very relaxed environment and majority of our patients are seeing us for years. We are a state of the art practice, equipped with all modern facilities like; 2 dental chairs, D4W software, Digital x-rays, Intra oral cameras, Rotary endo etc.

Balaclava train station is just 400 meters away and tram stop is right at the doorstep.

Skills and experience

To be successful for this role, you must have the following attributes:
**must have local experience in dental ( please do not waste your time if you not from field)**
- Previous experience in dental assisting is essential
- High standards towards infection control, sterilization and instrument processes
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Prior experience in using HICAPS and D4W desirable
- Punctual, extremely reliable, efficient, organised and a fast learner
