We are currently seeking a friendly and organised Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team and help ensure that every patient's experience is positive and stress-free.

Job Description:

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist at Bond Street, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing them with a warm welcome and excellent customer service. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our dental office, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and friendly demeanor will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive the care and support they deserve.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with a friendly and welcoming attitude as they arrive at the clinic.

  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment books efficiently.

  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other parties.

  • Maintain patient records and ensure that all information is up-to-date and organised.

  • Collect EFTPOS/HICAPS payments and handle billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Assist the dental team with administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the office.

-Chair side assisting and sterilisation 

-Provide support to dentists and staff 

-Prevent the spread of infection by maintaining a surgically clean work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in computer skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
