**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12-month contract paying up to $900/day + Super. This role is located in Sydney CBD/ WFH

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Data Manager with a leading NSW Government agency. The Data Manager will identify and realise opportunities across the infrastructure lifecycle from optioneering through to statutory planning, business case development, detailed design, delivery and asset management. The Digitalisation program is an executive priority project which currently, the work scheduled is unable to be completed by the existing workforce

Key accountabilities include:

- Assist functions or teams in planning quality management for data within their area of responsibility and for transformational digital projects.
- Analyse information structures including - but not limited to - logical analysis of taxonomies, data and metadata, and mapping of data structures within existing databases to future state structures
- Undertake improvements to data sets, including rationalisation and cleansing of data.

**About You**
- Knowledge of data used for property portfolios and construction processes would be valued**.**:

- Previous experience in the development of new or improved standards, practices and organisational processes or standards for information management, with a specific focus on master data management.
- Previous Gov experience beneficial
