Citywide are recruiting for a **Plans Designer** to join our busy **Traffic & Events** team based at our **North Melbourne** depot.

**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Ensure traffic plans are drafted to meet site and client requirements
- Ensure approved plans are implemented in an accurate and timely manner adhering to best practice and relevant legislation
- Ensure all traffic management is suitability staffed and supervised whilst on site
- Respond to emergency call-out, if required
- Undertake surveillance of assets within contract, as required
- Respond to general public, customer & relevant team member enquiries
- Inform Senior Project Manager of customers affected by upcoming works
- Develop an understanding of needs and requirements in regard to traffic management and ensure that traffic management solutions reduce unnecessary delays to traffic flow

**Skills and qualifications required**:

- Current Drivers Licence
- Traffic Management Ticket
- RIIWHS205D - Control Traffic with Stop Bat
- RIIWHS302D - Implement Traffic Management Plan
- RIICWD503D - Prepare Work Zone traffic Management Plan
- White Card
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
- CPR Certificate (Desirable)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Good computer skills with experience in MS Office
