Traffic Management Plans Designer

Citywide is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Plans Designer to join our team based in North Melbourne.

About the Role:

  • Draft traffic plans that meet site and client requirements.
  • Implement approved plans in a timely manner, adhering to best practice and relevant legislation.
  • Ensure all traffic management is suitably staffed and supervised while on site.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs as required.
  • Undertake surveillance of assets within contract, as required.
  • Provide excellent communication with customers and team members.
  • Inform Senior Project Manager of customers affected by upcoming works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement traffic management plans to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with traffic management.
  • Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to traffic management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Traffic Management Ticket.
  • RIIWHS205D - Control Traffic with Stop Bat.
  • RIIWHS302D - Implement Traffic Management Plan.
  • RIICWD503D - Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan.
  • White Card.
  • First Aid Certificate (Desirable).
  • CPR Certificate (Desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good computer skills with experience in MS Office.
