Overview
GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is an ASX listed engineering consulting and contracting organisation providing high quality process engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry.
We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.
We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Structural Draftsperson to join our Head Office team located in Ascot, WA, to work across a number of significant projects.
You will design and draft structural fixed plant drawings for process plant design.
Responsibilities
Produce drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in accordance with client specification, GRES Standards, specifications and procedures
Produce drawings and designs for constructability, manufacture and suitability/availability of materials and vendor information
Be able to transmit clear and concise information through drawings to engineers
Liaising with key project personnel to ensure design coordination of multi-disciplined activities
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Structural Design with a minimum of 10 years experience
Experience in process plant structural design and materials handling
Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, skills, codes and standards, relevant by-laws and standard industry practices
Knowledge of current design and detail drafting principles
Experience using TEKLA
Full and unrestricted Australian working rights along with relevant Australian experience
